We've all read a serial or two and I think we can all agree that serials are tricky and challenging because you're chopping the story into several pieces but at the same time, each volume should give the illusion of a complete tale. When one of the men is attacked and the people at The Box put in danger, Mary realizes that some desires are more dangerous than others. Does she run away again, giving up her new life in order to stay safe, or does she take a chance, possibly endangering them all? I love series, but I only truly like-like it if there's a big story in the background, told in subplots, know what I mean? I loved the way the book 1st starts out with the main character going back in time from when she was a little girl. Sarah relaxed in the front seat. All the men laughed except Toby, who looked a little confused. Well what can I say about the final part of this trilogy, the characters were kinda rushed with the ending. Can't wait to read more by this author and see what else she has in store for her readers. They hurried to the dressing room, but there was no sign of her mother anywhere. Not knowing too much about her past at the moment, keeps the reader guessing all the time.
